Arte Institute is pleased to present the California Premiere of the NY Portuguese Short Film Festival.

The NY Portuguese Short Film Festival will premier in San Francisco Bay Model – Sausalito, on October 4, with screenings of 17 shorts by Portugal’s most promising filmmakers.
This premier is a partnership between Arte Institute, the Consulate General of Portugal in California, Sausalito-Cascais Sister City Committee and University of California, Berkeley (Portuguese Studies Program).
This is a fundraising event for the 2015 Youth Sailing Exchange Program between Sausalito and Cascais.

Arte Institute is pleased to present the New Bedford Premiere of the NY Portuguese Short Film Festival.

The Arte Institute, in partnership with the Whaling Museum and the Consul of Portugal in New Bedford, is excited to present the New Bedford Premiere of the NY Portuguese Short Film Festival (NYPSFF). The evening will include the screening of short films produced in Portugal and abroad by Portuguese filmmakers. Produced and hosted by Arte Institute, the NYPSFF premiered in New York, and simultaneously in Lisbon, in June 2011. Since 2012, the annual event continues to take place at Tribeca Cinemas in New York and in Lisbon and has also been debuted in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Brasilia, London and Luanda.
