In present-day Lisbon drowned in a Film Noir universe, an accountant becomes obsessed with a married woman who moves to the apartment downstairs. When her husband is killed, a wandering detective starts investigating the murder, finding a bizarre and mysterious atmosphere surrounding a manipulative woman, her strangled husband and a voyeur neighbor.
