Synopsis:
Anchor is a mix of documentary with fiction, of non-actors with actors, of a real story with an imagined one. Two parallel stories
that converge on the same idea, the idea of unity and mutual support.
Anna and Helena, two mothers, struggle with forced separations. Anna, a Ukrainian refugee, tries to survive in Lisbon with her
daughter Kamilla. Helena, Portuguese, grieves the death of her son. The two women become friends the day they meet at the
Food Bank.
