Biography
Monica Vilela is an actress and producer. Co-founded MOMI FILMS NY LLC an independent, full service production company. Momi Films NYC projects include: “Benches” “Banho Maria aka Bain Marie”, “502”, “Birth Control”, “Simpatia do Limão” aka “Lemon Spell”, “Flipside” by Moema Umman, “Upstream” by Shashwat Gupta, LGBT short “The Boy and the Balloon” by Kyle Glasow. As an actress she graduated from Atlantic Acting School Conservatory. She wrapped a run of “Bride of the Gulf” at the Edinburgh Film Festival and did the show Thou Shalt not with the company Thinkery & Verse! Also produced the Immersive theater INSIDE THE WILD HEART by group.br. Also did an an actress in 2020 the short film A FARE RIDE by Miguel de Oliveira
