Nuno Baltazar is a filmmaker born in Lisbon, Portugal. He has developed several projects for cinema and TV as a writer, director, producer, editor and cinematographer. His short films screened at several international film festivals and collected many awards.

In 2016, Nuno was the first Portuguese filmmaker to be selected for Cinéfondation Festival de Cannes writing residency – La Résidence, where he develepod the script of his debut feature fronteira.
