Dinis M. Costa was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1987 where he graduated in Cinema. At the age of 19 he starts writing and directing his own independent short-films (“The Fourth Mask” and “Strangers in the Night”). In 2012 he premiered his third short-film “Essay” at Cannes Film Festival, which was premiered commercially in Portugal and in New York City. He is currently developing the project “Terra” (a short film trilogy) and writing his first novel.
