It’s with great pleasure we introduce you director Rui Falcão and his movie “Balança” (Balance).

Biography

Rui Falcão, born 1989, is a portuguese filmmaker from Miranda do Douro. He graduated in 2010 from Lisbon Theatre and Film School (ESTC), where he studied Film, and in 2013 he achieves a master’s degree in Film Directing at Oporto School of Arts (ESAP). Co-directed with João Costa and Harro Rannamets, his schoolmates, “Cinemática” an experimental documentary that competed at 2013 Fantasporto Film Festival for Best Portuguese Short Film and was later selected to screen at Panorama. In 2013 made his first fiction short film “Balança”.
