A Corrida
Anacleto runs with a huge smile on his face along the River Tejo. His silhouette stands out: thin, wrinkled face and gaudy-colored orange and green tennis. He takes a shower every day in the public shower facilities in Alcântara, and then heads to his cardboard bed in Comércio Square. Among other homeless people, he shares his “home” with Artur, who one day steals his running shoes. Depressed, Anacleto spends his days watching people run. One day, he meets Afonso, a young advertiser who invites him to be the leading actor in an TV commercial.
